ABOUT
The Rockhound is a boutique Inn located in the historic heart of Mount Ida, Arkansas, the Quartz Capital of the world. The building was established in 1920, serving the community in a variety of ways through the decades. Restored & opened as a luxury, three-unit Inn, we continue to serve our local and visiting community today. Please click here to learn more about us!

We offer three unique, luxury rooms at the Inn to meet any traveler's needs. Additionally, the entire Inn can be rented as a whole.

Coffee
Coffee options are provided in each room, ranging from luxury espresso machine to high quality pods.
Free Wifi
Each room is equipped with free WiFi, allowing guests to comfortably stream, surf the web or work remote.
Garden
Our garden is a lovely shared space for all guests to enjoy. We provide crystal dig supplies & a wash station here as well that are free for guests to use during their stay.
Housekeeping
Our rooms are thoroughly cleaned between every stay to the utmost quality standard. Housekeeping is available on request during your stay.
Innkeeper
While we do not have a Front Desk & each room is self-check in, we have an Innkeeper available 24/7.
Non-Toxic Products
Each room is stocked with a selection of luxury, non-toxic personal care products from toiletries to toilet paper.

Located in the heart of the Quartz Capital of the world, there are a plethora of crystal mines & dig sites just outside our doors.
Cultural Sites
The Inn is located right in the heart of historic Mount Ida. From your room, you can walk to our gallery, coffee shop, courthouse square, heritage museum & more. We are also only 40 minutes from Hot Springs National Park.
The Lakes
The Rockhound is a stones throw from stunning Lake Ouachita, which offers boating, fishing & swimming. Lake Hamilton & Lake Catherine are located in Hot Springs as well.
Hiking
With the Ouachita Mountains in your backyard, hiking & biking trails are aplenty. You have access to the Ouachita National Forest, Hot Springs National Forest & Lake Catherine State Park.
Shopping
Don't sleep on small town charm, the flea markets, antique shops & locally owned boutiques in the area are wonderful for collecting pieces as one of a kind as your stay.
